Why your accounts get shadowbanned, and how to avoid it

Running multiple accounts isn't banned. What gets detected and penalized is lazy multi-accounting: the same file, sent at the same times, from the same infrastructure. Platforms don't even need fancy AI to spot it.

L'empreinte d'un fichier

TikTok and Meta compute a visual fingerprint for every video uploaded. Two identical files share the same fingerprint, and different overlay text barely moves it: the video is still more than ninety percent identical. To exist as distinct content, two variants have to differ in the image itself.

Timing patterns

Five accounts posting at exactly 8:00 AM every morning draw a pattern no human produces. Real creators are irregular. A random shift of a few minutes per account per day is enough to break it.

Starting too fast

An account created on Monday that posts five times on Tuesday is an obvious automation signal. Accounts that last ramp up over several weeks: one post a day the first week, then two, then three. Patience is a protection strategy.
